Amakusa Airfield, also known as Amakusa Airport, is a regional airport serving the city of Amakusa, located on the Amakusa Islands, off southern Japan. The airport is situated on the northern side of the main island, northwest of the city. Amakusa receives both regular commercial services, as well as general aviation traffic. The airport serves as the hub of regional carrier, Amakusa Airlines. Amakusa is operated by Kumamoto Prefecture.
