Gol Dominicana
About
Gol Dominicana was a failed JV between Gol Linhas Aereas and private Dominican equity investors, that planned to launch services in 2014/2015. Gol hoped to establish the Dominican Republic as a hub of operations for Latin American and Caribbean services via Santo Domingo Airport. It received support from government departments and was subject to a review by the JAC. In Dec-2015, Gol issued a notice of withdrawal for the corporate entity, 'Gol Dominicana Lineas Aereas SAS'.
