About
BVI Airways was a charter carrier of the British Virgin Islands, based at Beef Island Terrance B Lettsome Airport. It was certified as a commercial air carrier by the CAA/ASSI under the (British) Overseas Territories Aviation Requirements, and operated services to Tortola, St. Maarteen, Dominica and Antigua. It ceased scheduled operations in Dec-2014, due to being under review by Virgin Island regulators. BVI Airways relaunched operations with charter services in 2017, and planned to operate scheduled services to Miami from Jul-2017. However, the carrier ceased operations in Jul-2017.
