Wizz Air to expand Vilnius network in Mar-2014

Wizz Air announced (18-Sep-2013) plans to expand its Vilnus network in Mar-2014 with plans to base its third A320 aircraft at the airport from Mar-2014 - see Route Changes Table for more information. The aircraft will support the operation of 16 routes from Vilnius and will increase seat capacity by 30%. Wizz Air also plans to launch three new routes from Vilnius to Tel Aviv, Kutaisi and Corfu and plans to increase frequencies on its existing services from Vilnius to Barcelona, Eindhoven, London Luton, Milan Bergamo and Paris Beauvais as follows:

Wizz Air's new routes from Vilnius:

• Vilnius-Tel Aviv: Three times weekly service from 27-Oct-2013;
• Vilnius-Kutaisi: Twice weekly service from 31-Mar-2014;
• Vilnius-Corfu: Weekly service from 15-Jun-2013.

Wizz Air's frequency increases from Vilnius:

• Vilnius-Barcelona: From twice to three times weekly;
• Vilnius-Eindhoven: From three to four times weekly;
• Vilnius-London Luton: From 11 to 13 times weekly;
