Garuda Indonesia priced USD500m Sukuk in late May-2015

Garuda Indonesia priced (14-Jun-2015) a USD500 million, five-year Sukuk with a coupon of 5.95% on 27-May-2015. The carrier mandated Warba Bank as joint lead manager and join book runner for the issue. Middle East investors accounted for 56% of the issue, Asia investors for 32% and Europe for 12%. The offering was the airline's first international Sukuk issue and first non-sovereign US dollar denominated Sukuk by an Indonesian company. [more - original PR]
