Vietnam Airlines' first 787 completes final assembly processes

Vietnam Airlines, via its official Facebook account, stated (21-Apr-2015) the carrier's first Boeing 787 has completed the final assembly processes. The aircraft is now in the hangar and waiting for its livery. In mid-2015, Vietnam Airlines will be the first Asian carrier to operate the 787-9 to Europe from Asia. London Heathrow is the first international airport to be chosen to operate the new fleet.
