Vanilla Air opens reservations under new name

Vanilla Air officially changed (01-Nov-2013) its name from AirAsia Japan to Vanilla Air and opened reservation for services under its new name on 01-Nov-2013. The carrier is celebrating its relaunch with 13,000 one-way tickets for all its routes, services from Tokyo Narita to Okinawa. Taipei, Sapporo and Seoul, at a special price of JPY1000 (USD10.2), for travel between 20-Dec-2013 and 29-Mar-2014. Vanilla Air president Tomonori Shii said "we will offer special prices again in the future as needed." Meanwhile, the carrier also unveiled new inflight meals which will be available for purchase from the carrier's website from late Nov-2013.
