US House of Representatives passses long-term FAA reauthorisation

US House of Representatives passed (03-Feb-2012) HR 658, the 'FAA Modernization and Reform Act of 2012' by a vote of 248 to 169. The bill is a four-year infrastructure measure to reform Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) programmes, improve US aviation infrastructure and modernise the air traffic control system.
