Switzerland's Unique Flughafen Zurich revenue down 6.8% - financial highlights for the six months ended 30-Jun-2009:

• Revenue: EUR261.3 million, -6.8% year-on-year;
  • Aviation: EUR158.0 million, -8.3%;
  • Non-aviation: EUR104.1 million, -4.4%;
• Operating costs: EUR137.4 million, +4.7%;
• EBITDA: EUR124.6 million, -16.9%;
• EBIT: EUR62.7 million, -29.6%;
• Passenger numbers: 10.2 million, -3.8%;
• Cargo volume: 162,418 tonnes, -18.8%;

Unique Flughafen Zurich: "If no unforeseen events should occur, Flughafen Zürich AG anticipates a slight decline in the traffic volume also in the second half of the year. For the full year, the decline in the passenger volume is expected still to be between 3 and 5 percent. With respect to non-aviation business too, Flughafen Zürich AG expects the decline in revenue to persist in the second half of the year.
