THAI Smile confirms plans to operate with WE airline code from 10-Apr-2014

THAI Smile confirmed (09-Apr-2014) it received air operator certification from Thailand's Department of Civil Aviation on 31-Mar-2014. The airline will operate using the WE and TG airline codes with A320 equipment from 10-Apr-2014. The airline's domestic network currently includes Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Hat Yai, Khon Kaen, Krabi, Phuket, Surat Thani, Ubon Ratchathani and Udon Thani. The carrier also operates international services to Chongqing, Colombo, Delhi, Hyderabad, Macau, Mandalay and Phnom Penh and will commence Vientiane service on 26-Oct-2014. [more - original PR]
