Thai Airways receives third A380 aircraft

Thai Airways received its third A380 aircraft (traveldailymedia.com, 30-Dec-2012). The aircraft was handed over to the carrier in Toulouse on 21-Dec-2012 and will be deployed on the Bangkok-Tokyo Narita sector from 01-Jan-2013. THAI has ordered six A380s, with the first being delivered in Sep-2012 and the sixth expected to arrive in 4Q2013. Other destinations reportedly to be served by the new aircraft include Frankfurt, Sydney, London and Paris. The airline configured its A380s with 507 seats, including 12 first, 137 business and 435 economy seats.
