Technology starting to drive and influence distribution methods: SITA

SITA regional director Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific Jay Youlten, speaking at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit, stated (08-Aug-2013) technology is starting to drive and influence distribution methods and that passengers, whether booking tickets or researching their next holiday, on in fact looking at anything in the air transportation chain of events, are taking "far more control", with "control increasingly at passenger level".
