Tafa Air, Kosovo startup, launches operations

Tafa Air, a Kosovo-based start-up, launched operations on 01-Dec-2009, commencing services from Prishtina and Tirana to destinations in Germany, including Berlin Neubrandenburg, Dortmund and Friedrichshafen with daily services (New Kosova, 30-Nov-2009). The carrier plans to expand services to the UK, Austria and Switzerland. IT will initially operate two leased A320s and also plans to lease two Il-76s for cargo operations by mid-Jan-2010.
