SWISS and Lufthansa mark five years of integration: EUR200 million p/a in synergies

SWISS and Lufthansa celebrated (22-Mar-2010) the fifth anniversary of SWISS's integration into the Lufthansa Group, with Lufthansa CEO, Wolfgang Mayrhuber, commenting, that the synergies of approximately EUR200 million p/a related to the integration have "exceeded our expectations". Following its successful turnaround, SWISS has increased its passenger volumes by 50% and created over 1,000 new jobs in the last five years. [more]
