London Stansted Airport reports busiest July in seven years

London Stansted Airport passenger numbers up 13% - traffic highlights for Jul-2015:

• Passenger numbers: 2.2 million, +12.5% year-on-year;
• Cargo volume: 20,732 tonnes, +4.4%;

Stansted MD Andrew Harrison said: "Looking further ahead, we are delighted to announce more good news on the airline front. Lufthansa's new short and mid-haul subsidiary Eurowings will begin flights from Stansted to Vienna in November 2015. The airline will fly six times a week to the Austrian capital using an Airbus A320."
