London Stansted Airport annual pax to Apr-2015 exceed 21 million for first time since May-2009
London Stansted Airport passenger numbers up 11% - traffic highlights for Apr-2015:
- Passenger numbers: 1.9 million, +10.7% year-on-year;
- Cargo volume: 18,494 tonnes, +1.6%;

The airport noted (12-May-2015) rolling 12 month passengers exceeded 21 million for the first time since May-2009 and just three months after breaking the 20 million passenger milestone. The monthly result also marks the airport's busiest April since 2007. MD Andrew Harrison stated the airport's traffic continues to be driven by the additional routes and increased frequencies offered by its airline partners to key destination across Europe and the UK.
