Spirit and ALPA sign tentative agreement

Spirit Airlines and its pilots, represented by the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA), reached (16-Jun-2010) a tentative agreement on a new contract. The contract, which was unanimously recommended by the union's leadership, is subject to ratification by the pilot membership planned for Jul-2010. Pending ratification, Spirit pilots are returning to work and the airline will resume operations on 18-Jun-2010. [more]
