Southwest shuffles AirTran schedules, launches new services

Southwest Airlines plans to implement to following schedule changes for AirTran schedules as per a 22-Oct-2012 GDS timetable display - see Route Changes for more information:

AirTran services:

  • Atlanta-Charlotte: 21 times weekly service suspended from 13-Apr-2013;
  • Atlanta-Flint: 14 times weekly service suspended from 13-Apr-2013;
  • Atlanta-Rochester: 14 times weekly service suspended from 13-Apr-2013;
  • Baltimore-Charlotte: 14 times weekly service suspended from 13-Apr-2012. The service will be transferred to Southwest;
  • Baltimore-Portland, Maine: 21 times weekly service suspended from 13-Apr-2012. The service will be transferred to Southwest;
  • Baltimore-Punta Cana: Daily service to be launch on 14-Apr-2013 operated by AirTran;
  • Orlando-Flint: Daily service suspended from 13-Apr-2012. The service will be transferred to Southwest;
  • Tampa-Flint: Daily service suspended from 13-Apr-2013. The service will be transferred to Southwest;
  • Rochester-Baltimore: 14 times weekly service suspended from 13-Apr-2013. The service will be transferred to Southwest;
  • Rochester-Orlando: 14 times weekly service suspended from 13-Apr-2013. The service will be transferred to Southwest;
  • Rochester-Tampa: Fourteen times weekly service suspended from 13-Apr-2013. The service will be transferred to Southwest.
