Small Planet Airlines establishes German subsidiary

Small Planet Airlines established (25-May-2015) a subsidiary in Germany, Small Planet Airlines GmbH, which is to be based in Berlin. The company intends to obtain a German air operator's certificate and operate services under the German registration, basing "aircraft at both main and regional airports across Germany." The company appointed former Germania CEO Andreas Wobig as the CEO of the new business, with former Germania CCO Oliver Pawel to serve as CCO. Small Planet Airlines CEO Vytautas Kaikaris said: "Germany is a strategic step that we have been considering for quite some time.
