Safran Group revenue up 8.8% in 3Q2010, renewed confidence in 2011

Safran Group revenue up 8.8% - financial highlights for the three months ended 30-Sep-2010:

• Revenue: EUR2,593 million, +8.8% year-on-year;
  • Aerospace propulsion: EUR1,329 million, -1.1%;
  • Aircraft equipment: EUR696 million, +14.5%. [more]

Safran Group: "Safran recorded a solid performance during the third-quarter 2010, highlighting strong double-digit growth in three out of its four main businesses. We saw encouraging signs in CFM56 aftermarket with revenue in CFM56 spares up 16% sequentially, giving us confidence that the low point might be behind us. Aircraft Equipment delivered a good performance, notably thanks to the landing systems on the B787 programme.
