RwandAir signs MoU for two A330s

RwandAir signed (23-Mar-2015) a MoU with Airbus to acquire one A330-200 and one A330-300 for delivery in 2H2016. The aircraft will be configured with 261 and 300 seats in three classes and will be powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 772B engines. The aircraft are the carrier's first widebodies and the first A330s ordered by an airline in East Africa. The aircraft will expand RwandAir's fleet to 10 aircraft and support its plans to expand in Asia, Europe and the Middle East, enhance its regional presence, commence new routes and increase its market share.
