Rosedale Aviation Holdings disposes of 48.1% stake in Flybe

Flybe confirmed (13-Nov-2013) major shareholder Rosedale Aviation Holdings disposed of its 48.1% stake in the company on 12-Nov-2013. The free float of the company is expected to increase to 85% as a result of the disposal. The shares were placed with institutional investors by Liberum Capital, acting as sole bookrunner. Following the transaction, Standard Life Investments Ltd has taken a 8.265% stake in the company, SFM UK Management LLP a 9.4% stake, Aberforth Partners a 10.82% stake and Polar Capital European Forager Fund Limited a 4.59% stake. Flybe CEO Saad Hammad said: "This transaction marks another milestone in Flybe's history. I would like to thank Rosedale Aviation for their support over many years. I would also like to take this opportunity to welcome aboard our new shareholders and thank existing investors who have increased their holding as part of this transaction."
