Qatar airport traffic up 11.4% in Jul-2014

Qatar's Doha Hamad International Airport (HIA) reported (16-Sep-2014) it handled 2,160,843 passenger in Jul-2014. The traffic is an 11.4% year-on-year increase compared to Jul-2013 traffic compared to the old Doha International Airport (DOH). Cargo traffic increased 12.8% compared to the previous years' traffic at DOH. All cargo operations are now operating out of the new airport. The new facility is now Qatar's sole airport.
