Proposed bill penalises operators of airport scanners

US Representative David Simpson announced plans to propose a bill that penalises operators of airport body scanners with a USD1000-a-day fine (Contributor Network, 05-Mar-2011). The scanners are reportedly controversial due to potential radiation danger and for producing naked images of those passing through.
