Polish airports handle 25m pax in 2014, Warsaw Chopin handles 43%; Ryanair largest carrier

Poland's Civil Aviation Authority reported (03-Apr-2014) passenger numbers at Polish airports increased 2.2% year-on-year to 25 million in 2013. Details include:

  • Largest airports:
    • Warsaw Frederic Chopin: 10.7 million, +11.5% year-on-year;
    • Krakow: 3.6 million, +2.9%;
    • Gdansk: 2.8 million, -1.2%;
    • Katowice: 2.5 million, -0.5%;
