NUS: 'there is an immediate systemic imbalance' in China-ASEAN agreement

National University of Singapore professor Alan Tam, speaking at the 2014 CAPA Asia Aviation & LCC Summit, stated (14-Oct-2014) "there is an immediate systemic imbalance" in China-ASEAN agreements which allows Chinese carriers to fly to any point in ASEAN, but individual ASEAN carriers can only serve China from their home countries. He said such a situation demonstrates the need for seventh freedom rights in ASEAN.
