Narita estimates 14.4% decrease of international travellers during summer

Japan's Narita Airport Corporation estimated (08-Jul-2011) the number of international passengers travelling to/from Tokyo Narita International Airport during the summer holiday season (14-Jul-2011 to 31-Aug-2011) will decline 14.4% year-on-year to 3.4 million. The number of passengers bottomed out in Apr-2011 with a 41% year-on-year decline but is showing a recovery trend after Golden Week where there was a 21% year-on-year decline in passenger numbers.
