Myanmar to launch new private airline

Asian Wings, a new private airline in Myanmar, will commence operations on 27-Jan-2011 with domestic and charter services (Xinhua/Weekly Eleven News, 25-Jan-2011). Two 70-seat ATR 72-500 aircraft will be initially used to operate the services which will cover 11 destinations. Asian Wings is also planning international services.
