Munich Airport EBITDA up 6% in 2012, handles 38.4 million pax

Germany's Munich Airport reports (21-Mar-2013) the following preliminary financial highlights for 2012 (according to IFRS):

• Group sales: EUR1185 million, +4.4% year-on-year;
• EBITDA*: EUR515 million, +6.2%;
• EBIT*: EUR280 million, +16.7%;
• EAT* (Earnings after tax): EUR95 million, +58.3%;
• Passenger numbers: 38.4 million, +1.6%;
• Cargo volume (air freight and air mail): 290,301 tonnes, -4.4%;
