Munich Airport remains one of few German airports reporting 'significant profits', 2014 EBITDA up 2%

Munich Airport reported (27-Mar-2015) a 2% year-on-year increase in EBITDA to EUR475 million in 2014. Revenue increased slightly to EUR1200 million on the back of strong growth in passenger and freight traffic. Net profit was in line with 2013 results at EUR100 million. Commenting on the result, CEO Michael Kerloh said the airport "remains one of the few airports in Germany still generating significant profits." As previously reported, the airport handled a record 39.7 million passengers, up 3%, with average aircraft load factor also increasing to a new all-time record of 75.9%.
