MTU Aero Engines revenue down 1.4% - financial highlights for the nine months ended 30-Sep-2009:

• Revenue: EUR1,955 million, -1.4% year-on-year;
  • OEM: EUR1,158 million, -3.2%;
  • Commercial engine: EUR790.9 million, -6.0%;
  • Commercial MRO: EUR821.2 million, +1.6%;
• EBIT: EUR210.8 million, -11.8%;
  • OEM: EUR158.2 million, -24.1%;
  • Commercial MRO: EUR55.6 million, +70.6%;
• Net profit: EUR93.4 million, -21.2%;
• Order backlog: EUR4,068 million, +1.3% from 31-Dec-2008;
  • Commercial MRO: EUR145.9 million, +11.0% from 31-Dec-2008. [more]

MTU Aero Engines: "On this basis, we expect our year-end EBIT to be higher than originally anticipated.
