Moscow Vnukovo Airport pax up 10% in Jun-2013, 4.8 million pax in 1H2013

Russia's Moscow Vnukovo Airport reported (09-Jul-2013) the following traffic highlights:

  • Jun-2013:
    • Passenger numbers: 1.1 million, +10.3% year-on-year;
      • Domestic: 553,000;
      • International: 527,000, +27.5%;
    • Aircraft movements: 14,600, stable;
  • Six months ended 30-Jun-2013:
    • Passenger numbers: 4.8 million, +13.8%;
      • Domestic: 2.7 million;
      • International: 2.1 million, +47.1%;

The airport stated the most popular domestic routes were Saint Petersburg, Krasnodar, Ufa, Sochi and Samara while the largest growth were recorded on services to Yekaterinburg, Saint Petersburg, Omsk and New Urengoy. UTair is the largest carrier at the airport while Transaero saw the largest increase in traffic.
