Moscow Sheremetyevo International Airport pax up 11% in Aug-2014

Russia's Moscow Sheremetyevo International Airport reported (10-Sep-2014) an 11.2% year-on-year increase in passenger numbers to 3.5 million in Aug-2014, including a 30.7% increase in domestic passengers to 1.4 million and an 11.2% increase in international passengers to 3.5 million. Aircraft movements increased 5.1% to 23,810. The airport noted the most popular foreign destinations in the first eight months of 2014 were Antalya, Paris, Prague, Beijing, Rome, New York, Amsterdam, Hurghada, Shanghai, Kiev and Istanbul.
