Australia's Melbourne Tullamarine Airport international passenger numbers up 17% - traffic highlights:

    • Domestic: 1.9 million, less than +1%;
    • International: 569,920, +17%;

  • Passenger numbers: 7.2 million, +3%;

    • International: 1.8 million, +9%.

The airport also reported the following strong performing nationalities by passport holders:

  • Brazil: +41.9% year-on-year;
  • China: +35.8%;
  • Japan: +30.1%;
  • Ireland: +27.7%;
  • Argentina: +26.0%;

  • Greece: +19.5%;
  • China: +18.2%;
  • Japan: +18.2%;
  • Taiwan: +16.9%;
