Lufthansa to increase services to India

Lufthansa Group (Lufthansa Airlines, Austrian and SWISS) announced plans to increase weekly frequencies - from 66 to 78 weekly services - to seven Indian destinations for the winter schedule (PTI/IANS, 24-Jun-2010). The carrier will also deploy larger aircraft (an A340-600, with approximately 80 additional seats compared with the A340-300 in use) on Frankfurt-Chennai sector and increase Frankfurt-Pune frequency from three to four times weekly - see Route Changes Table for more information. Lufthansa Group offers services to New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Pune.
