Lufthansa Group reports 16% increase in 1Q2010 revenue

Lufthansa Group reports (04-May-2010) the following preliminary financial highlights for the three months ended 31-Mar-2010:

• Revenue: EUR5,800 million, +16% year-on-year;
• Operating profit (loss): (EUR330 million), compared with a loss of EUR44 million in the previous corresponding period;
• Net profit (loss): (EUR298 million), compared with a net loss of EUR267 million in the previous corresponding period.

The carrier is scheduled to release its full 1Q2010 financial results on 05-May-2010.
