Long-haul makes up 80% of Ethiopian Airlines' traffic

Ethiopian Airlines CEO Tewolde GebreMariam, speaking at the CAPA World Aviation Summit, said (20-Nov-2014) long-haul international routes account for more than 80% of the airline's total traffic. China is currently the airline's largest inter-continental market. He said he sees potential for growth in services connecting Africa, Brazil, China and India. Mr GebreMariam said mature markets in North America and Europe would remain important.
