London Stansted Airport reports busiest year since 2008, busiest Dec since 2007 in 2014

London Stansted Airport reported (12-Jan-2015) its busiest year since 2008 with 20.0 million passengers travelling through the airport in 2014, an increase of 12% year-on-year, making it the UK's fastest growing airport. The 1.6 million passengers using the airport in Dec-2014 also made it the busiest December for the airport since 2007. Cargo volume for the year increased 6.9% to 226,000 tonnes. [more - original PR]
