London Gatwick Airport pax stable, cargo down 1% in Apr-2013

UK's London Gatwick Airport passenger numbers stable - traffic highlights for Apr-2013:

  • Passenger numbers: 2.7 million, +0.4% year-on-year;
    • UK and Channels Islands: 302,900, -6.0%;
    • Ireland: 102,400, -2.5%;
    • European scheduled: 1.6 million, +3.2%;
    • European charter: 193,200, -11.4%;
    • North Atlantic: 136,300, -15.1%;
    • Other long-haul: 424,700, +8.75;
  • Cargo volume: 7,804 tonnes, -1.2%;
