Latin America a success story: IATA regional VP

IATA regional VP for the Americas Peter Cerda, speaking at the CAPA World Aviation Summit, said (20-Nov-2014) Latin America has been a success story over the last five to 10 years, supported by economic growth. The middle class population in the region is expected to increase and the region is better connected by airlines operating new aircraft. Mr Cerda reported good improvements in safety in the region with the aim of matching the US and Europe.
