Kay Kratky confirmed as new CEO of Austrian Airlines

Lufthansa Group confirmed (12-May-2015) the appointment of Kay Kratky as CEO of Austrian Airlines, with Mr Kratky's appointment approved by Austrian Airlines' supervisory board on 12-May-2015. Mr Kratky will succeed Jaan Albrecht as CEO and chairman of the carrier's management board on 01-Aug-2015, with Mr Albrecht departing Austrian Airlines on 01-Jun-2015 to assume the role of CEO at SunExpress. Lufthansa Group stated: "In this interim period, the months of June and July, Chief Commercial Officer Andreas Otto will bear sole responsibility on the Management Board.
