Kansai Airport reports 4% rise in Dec-2009 int'l pax numbers

Japan's Kansai International Airport reports (28-Jan-2010) the following traffic highlights in Dec-2009:

Passenger numbers: 1.1 million, -4% year-on-year;
- International: 812,200, +4%;
- Domestic: 269,700, -23%;
Aircraft movements: 8,965, -13%.
