Jetstar to reintroduce Melbourne-Honolulu service on 15-Dec-2012

Jetstar plans to reintroduce twice weekly Melbourne-Honolulu service on 15-Dec-2012, as per a 31-Jul-2012 GDS timetable display. Air Australia, which was placed into voluntary administration on 17-Feb-2012 and into liquidation on 23-Mar-2012, previously operated on the route, from 12-Dec-2011 to 17-Feb-2012 but there are currently no operators on the sector, according to Innovata. Melbourne Airport welcomed (01-Aug-2012) the service, which will see a frequency increase to three times weekly from 29-Mar-2012.
