Jetstar Japan unveils domesitc fares from JPY1 (USD 1 cent)

Jetstar Japan unveiled (17-Apr-2012) its domestic fares, aimed at "revolutionising how millions of Japanese travel". The new airline, a JV between the Qantas Group, Japan Airlines, Mitsubishi Corporation and Century Tokyo Leasing Corporation, is on sale from 17-Apr-2012 to five domestic destinations. Offers range from 10,000 seats for JPY1 (approximately USD0.01) to everyday fares up to 50% less than full service carriers. The airline's first flight is scheduled for 03-Jul-2012.
