Jetstar Asia says approach to codeshare and interlines extends from its initial Qantas codeshare

Jetstar Asia CEO Barathan Pasupathi, speaking at the CAPA Asia Aviation Summit, said (23-Nov-2015) the carrier's approach to codeshare and interline agreements extends from its initial codeshare with Qantas Airways from 2005. Mr Pasupathi explained: "You don't expect overnight success in trying to turn partnerships on, it takes time to work with partners in Asia." Mr Pasupathi noted the carrier started with no codeshare partners in 2004 and now has three large ones, alongside 23 interline and codeshare partners.
