Jetairfly takes delivery of first 787

Jetairfly received (04-Dec-2013) its first Boeing 787 aircraft, with the carrier taking delivery of the aircraft at Boeing's Everett facility on 03-Dec-2013. TUI Belgium CEO Elie Bruyninckx said: "We are very excited about the Jetairfly Dreamliner entering service as the first and only 787 operated by a Belgian airline. This aircraft isn't only a perfect match with our innovative and sustainable philosophy. It is also a great asset in our strategy of offering unique holiday experiences to our passengers, especially when they fly between Europe and the Caribbean." The aircraft will commence operations on short and medium-haul routes in early Dec-2013, before commencing long-haul operations after Christmas. [more - original PR]
