Jeju Air, Air Busan and Jin Air expanding internationally

South Korea's Ministry of Land, Transport, and Maritime Affairs stated three LCCs will expand their international operations, as follows:

• Jeju Air: Commencing Seoul Gimpo-Nagoya service in Mar-2010;
• Air Busan: Launching services to Fukuoka and Osaka in Mar-2010 and Apr-2010, respectively;
• Jin Air: Launching Incheon-Guam service in Apr-2010 (Choshun, 04-Feb-2010).

The LCCs are also considering operating charter services between Busan and Cebu and between Cheongju and Phuket. Currently only Jeju Air and Jin Air operate international services (from Incheon to Osaka, Kitakyushu and Bangkok for Jeju and on the Incheon-Bangkok sector for Jin Air).
