Japan Airlines wins US Bankruptcy Court Protection

Japan Airlines Corp was granted Chapter 15 Protection in a Manhattan Bankruptcy Court on 17-Feb-2010, giving the carrier protection against US lawsuits and helping the struggling carrier organise its US creditor claims (Bloomberg, 17-Feb-2010). There were no objections to the bid for US court protection.
