International pax to/from Australia up 6% to 33.1m in 2014, capacity (seats) up 5% to 44.1m

Australia's Bureau of Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Economics (BITRE) reports (25-May-2015) the following international traffic highlights to/from Australia in 2014:

Passenger numbers: 33.1 million, +5.6% year-on-year;
Available seats: 44.1 million, +4.8%;
Flights: 175,172, +4.4%;
Cargo volume: 896,137 tonnes, +2.0%;
