British Airways and Qatar Airways to commence joint business agreement in Oct-2016

British Airways and Qatar Airways announced (28-Sep-2016) a joint business agreement to commence on 30-Oct-2016. The revenue-sharing agreement will allow the airlines to cooperate on schedules and pricing. The airlines aim to provide better links between the UK, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa with a greater choice of services and enhanced frequent flyer benefits. The carriers' combined network will cover more than 70 destinations. The airlines will codeshare on all nonstop services between the UK and Doha, including seven daily London-Doha services, and connecting services to destinations in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and UK.
